Natachet (pronounced Na-ta-sha), a 16 year old Arabian mare of Russian descent, came from the racetracks of Oregon. In her younger, untrained years she proved to be quite a handful for Lorelei before settling into a career as an outstanding competitive trail horse and earning many ribbons including Champion and Best Conditioned over the years. She was also quite successful in the ring as a dressage horse.
Currently "Tosha" is used by only the most experienced riders. She remains a spirited mount that they many of our riders hope one day to be good enough to ride. Natachet is also an example of a good mother for the children. Although her daughter Recea was weaned long ago, her mother is still totally devoted to her.
Raceya is currently in training to join the team. We describe her as Dalmosz's step-daughter to the children to help some of them relate to their own feelings and experiences with their families.
